B-rdy Pistol Handling System with his mantra “Movement Means Life” represents systematic B-rdy pistol training methodology that is applicable to any shooting discipline – from concealed carry self-defense, to dynamic sport shooting disciplines, to use within the armed forces.
The B-rdy course methodology is divided into 12 sequential lessons in which students are guided through pistol control from basic manipulation, through dynamic shooting, handling complex shooting situations, defensive shooting and self-defense scenarios with FX marking ammunition, and evaluating situations in terms of necessary defense and extreme emergency conditions.
The lessons are not a single-time affair. B-rdy opens a class and recruits students which then attend individual follow-up lessons. Typically 1 lesson per every two weeks, so teaching this course takes place over 24 weeks, during which time the instructors will help the student work through the complex issues of gun handling.
The course is designed for current gun-licence holders, ideally interested in improving their shooting skills in both competition and defense with a firearm.
We will go through the basics in the form of safety handling, B-rdy Shooting Basics Tetragon (BSBT – recoil management, grip, triggering, eye work), as well as draw, repetitive shots and transitions, to advanced skills in the use of cover, movement, sporting and defensive shooting and malfunctions solving.
The course is followed by 2 sessions focusing on shooting and handling the weapon in the lowlight conditions.
