Tomáš Král

Tomáš “King” Král is a war veteran with 18 years of service and an operator of the 601st Special Forces Group with combat experience from missions in Afghanistan. He began collaborating with B-rdy through Hard Task Training s.r.o., where he also serves as an instructor. Tomáš is the subject-matter expert for tactical procedures and an instructor of small-team tactics (SUT, CQB), tactical tracking, and personal protection services.

“My professional career began in 2000, when I started a one-year mandatory military service with the 102nd Deep Reconnaissance unit in Prostějov. Besides sweeping, peeling potatoes and duties as a guard, I was introduced to the basics of reconnaissance and conducting combat operations. In 2002 I successfully passed the demanding selection for the 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec (601.skss) and then completed the requisite 12-month Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC).

I gained my professional knowledge, skills and experience over an eighteen-year career as a SOF (Special Operation Forces) operator not only within my parent unit, 601.skss, but also from other branches of the Czech Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defence, and special units of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. I also acquired significant experience from partner foreign SOF units while working together both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Between 2004 and 2011 I completed three combat missions in war-torn Afghanistan; in 2013 I was a member of a Close Protection Team (CPT) that protected the Czech ambassador and the embassy in Kabul for five months. I also carried out training and advisory missions in 2015 in Kenya and in 2019 in the United Arab Emirates.”
