1.2.1. B-rdy Lowlight & Dark Conditions with a Pistol

The course will guide students through the possibilities of using low light conditions to gain a tactical advantage. The course has 2 lessons focusing on shooting and handling the weapon in the lowlight conditions, including FX scenarios.

The course is based on our own methodology combining basic techniques described in courses from Surefire, Czech army SFs and the Low-light course by Czech training company Hard Task, supplemented by a range of practical knowledge focused on the use of flashlights in EDC and service environments. We have also reflected a number of scenarios from real self-defense situations and operations undertaken in the dark in the course, including lessons learned from our night vision courses. The course assumes that students have the same level of skills as graduates of the B-rdy Pistol Handling System.

In addition to handheld flashlights, the course also covers the use of weapon-mounted flashlights to gain a tactical advantage. The entire course is conducted in the spirit of the B-rdy Performance Oriented approach, which means we focus not only on technique execution, but also on the ability to shoot effectively in low light conditions.

  • Own the darkness – make it your advantage
  • Great add-on module to our B-rdy Pistol Handling System
  • Modern and constantly developing methodology based on the B-rdy educational system and practical experience
  • Each lesson begins with a detailed review of previously learned content
  • After each lesson, students receive a written summary of the learned knowledge to support their independent training
