1.11.1. Tactical Driver Basic Course

A Tactical Driver Basics course is advanced driver training that combines defensive and offensive techniques to prepare drivers for high-risk situations, focusing on vehicle control, evasive maneuvers, and situational awareness.

These courses are offered for various professions, including law enforcement, military, security personnel, and sometimes civilians, and include topics like high-speed driving, emergency braking, convoy operations, and counter-surveillance.

What we will teach you:

• Vehicle dynamics: Understanding how a vehicle behaves in different conditions and at various speeds.
• Evasive maneuvers: High-speed and emergency braking, quick acceleration, and rapid steering to avoid collisions.
• Defensive techniques: Threat and attack recognition, route analysis, collision avoidance, and counter-surveillance.
• Offensive/contact driving: Advanced skills such as performing PIT maneuvers, breaking through roadblocks, and vehicle ramming (often for professional security).
• Specialized scenarios: Training for specific situations like convoy operations, disabled driver takeovers, or responding to a “driver down” scenario.

We will send you an information letter with a mandatory equipment. You don’t need your own car.

The course is for anyone with a driver license.

Registration is mandatory. When you register for a course, you will receive a confirmation email and we will send you an invoice approximately 1 week before the event.

COURSE DETAIL

1st day

• Vehicle dynamics
• Evasive maneuvers – braking, steering, reaction tests, slaloms, U-turns
• Convoy training
• Practical driving training – defensive techniques: Threat and attack recognition, route analysis, collision avoidance, and counter-surveillance.

2nd day

• Offensive/contact driving: Advanced skills such as performing PIT maneuvers, breaking through roadblocks, and vehicle ramming (often for professional security).
• Specialized scenarios: Training for specific situations like convoy operations, disabled driver takeovers, or responding to a “driver down” scenario.

The course is based upon the crisis scenario. The group of students will go through the situation about escaping from the city to a countryside, train practically a survival skills, basic weapon handling and get use with a emergency situations.
