The B-rdy Machine Gun Handling Course is an advanced course designed for machine gun shooters and the use of automatic weapons in squad fire support.
The course consists of two parts. The first part covers basic handling of a modern infantry machine gun in terms of safe handling and preparation for firing, shooting from various positions, barrel replacement, and malfunction solving.
The second part focuses on basic machine gun maintenance, disassembly and assembly, maintenance and cleaning, and preparation for combat. As part of the course, participants will also try out the use of a machine gun in response to enemy contact as part of a battle drill.

The course is designed for skilled shooters with perfect safe handling of the rifle. Students will work in a buddy teams.
GEAR & EQUIPMENT
We will provide to you the light machineguns. But also bring the mandatory equipment:
- Eyes protection (ballistic glasses)
- Hearing protection (we recommend active hearing protection)
- Gloves
- A rifle on a sling
- at least 2 magazines (a shooting/tactical belt or plate carrier recommended)
- at least 200 rounds
- Full gear equipment – plate carrier & helmet
- Gun licence and ID
Bring an UNLOADED RIFLE or PCC in a suitable concealed carry bag and sling, at least 2 spare magazines ideally in a mag pouches on plate carrier or shooting/tactical belt. Do not fotget a protective gear (ballistic glasses and ears protection), 200 rounds of ammunition in your caliber, firearms license and gun ID. Bring your weapon to the shooting range in UNLOADED CONDITION! The range is cold, choose appropriate clothing and footwear, and plenty of fluids are recommended.

PAYMENT
When you register you will receive an invoice for payment approximately one week before the event. Payment includes machineguns rental, an ammunition, shooting ranges etc.
COURSE DETAIL AND SCHEDULE
1st day – theory and types of machineguns, parts identification, safety handling and manipulation (guncheck and unloading, loading a preparation for shooting), disassembly & assembly, maintenance – cleaning and lubrication, gas regulation. Zeroing the machinegun, dynamic shooting, emergency and tactical reloads, barrel change procedure. Shooting from a different positions and covers. Malfunctions identification and solving.
2nd day – theory and armorers approach, complex training, machinegun in a battle drills with team.

The B-rdy Machine Gun Handling Course graduates are students who are skilled with safe handling with a light machineguns. They know how to maintain their machinegun, prepare it to support their team including shooting from various positions and covers and different positions. Graduates are ready for a real scenarios and battle drills and they are able to handle various malfunctions and shooting situations, safely handle movements between different covers, including shooting situations that are solved in a squad.
